Q: Do you offer a certificate of completion for the various courses?

We do not currently offer certificates for completing the course.

Q. Are there any costs involved in taking the course or shipping CDs?

There is no charge for taking the course or for shipping the CDs.

Q. How do I register for a course?

To register, complete the form at: http://www.foodsec.org/dl/dlregistration_en.asp After registration, log in with your Username and Password (the login box is on the right hand column of the page).

Q. When can I start the course?

You can start at any time since the course is completely self-paced and there is no personal instruction.

Q. Do I have the right qualifications to do the course?

All interested persons can take the course.

Q: I have problems accessing the materials online. How do I order a CD?

1. Order on-line Go the courses page (http://www.foodsec.org/dl/dlcourselist_en.asp) and click on "request a free copy" of the course you wish to take. Fill in the form that appears and press the submit button.
2. Order by E-mail. Write to information-for-action@fao.org with your full name and mailing address as well as the number of CDs you need.

Q: I ordered my CD last month – why has it not arrived yet?

Courses are generally available on-line before they are available on CD. Please allow several weeks after the course is published on-line for CDs to become available. Shipment of CDs is done at the end of each month from Rome, Italy.

Q: How can I order the resources for trainers?

The resources for trainers are included in the CD-Rom. They can also be downloaded for free from: http://www.foodsec.org/tr_res.htm.
